The Film
A boy distances himself from reality in an effort to cope with a cycle of abuse.

The film premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh on the 10th of July 2010.

IFTA Nomination
Headspace was nominated in the Best Animation Category for the Irish Film
and Television Awards which took place in Dublin on 12th February 2011.

ICCL Human Rights Film Awards 2011 Nomination
Headspace was nominated for the 2011 Irish Council for Civil Liberties
Human Rights Film Awards which took place at the IFI on the 15th June

The Director

Patrick Semple graduated from the National Film School's Animation Programme in 2009.

"Headspace" is his debut as a director.
